We planned the route to showcase the diversity and beauty of our State.
Our route mapping guidelines were to:
- Ride from one end of WA to the other
- Have feasible transport options to the start, and from the finish, with bikes on public transport
- Minimise distances on main highways
- Minimise distances on unsealed roads
- Display and experience the essence of WA
- Visit iconic cycling places
- Include our favourite bits of cycling routes and places to see
